We take this opportunity to welcome two new experienced Solicitors to our firm, Wade Thomas and Laura McGookin.

Laura is based at our Picton office. She practices primarily in Family Law, however also works in the areas of Criminal Law, Litigation and Will and Estates.
Laura has recently been appointed as President of the Macarthur Law Society. The Macarthur Law Society is the voice of the legal profession and community of Macarthur for The Law Society of New South Wales. The broad objective of the Macarthur Law Society is to provide valuable input and insight to The Law Society of New South Wales on policy issues and matters of concern from the Macarthur region.
On a local level they provide education and an array of activities to actively promote legal awareness to the community in all areas of the law. It is Laura’s desire to increase awareness of the role of the Macarthur Law Society, increase participation in organised events and to be accessible to any member of the Macarthur community to discuss their legal issues.
