What is a Will?

by | Nov 12, 2012

A Will is a legal document that details how all assets and investments are to be distributed when you pass away; it only comes into effect upon your death. It is recommended that every Australian over the age of 18 considers a Will.

If you already have a Will, it may need to be reviewed when the following occurs:

If you are to marry or become divorced
If your spouse or a family member mentioned in your Will passes away
If your Executor passes away or becomes incapacitated
If your financial situation changes or your wishes change
