Caldwell Martin Cox is committed to stamping out domestic violence and solicitors from the firm attended the 2015 White Ribbon Day Breakfast at the Camden Civic Centre on 3 December. Numerous high ranking police officers and politicians, including the Deputy Premier of New South Wales, also attended. Speakers at the event included Tanya Whitehouse (co-ordinator of the Macarthur Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service), Superintendent Ward Hanson (Camden’s Local Area Commander) and Chris Patterson (State MP for Macarthur). The keynote speaker was Rob Hunt, whose partner was murdered by a former boyfriend. Mr Hunt has become a campaigner against domestic violence and does his best to educate society about what domestic violence looks like and to encourage men in particular to address the issue. The breakfast was, once again, a huge success and CMC congratulates the organisers. Click on this link for more information: http://www.sayno2dv.org.au/DSC09619
