Cancer Council’s ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’

by | Jun 1, 2017

This year CMC set out to raise funds for the Cancer Council’s ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’.  Our goal was to raise $1,000 and we called on the support of our staff and their families, the local community and friends to assist us in reaching this goal.  A huge raffle was organised, and tickets were on sale ahead of the prize being drawn on Friday, 26 May 2017.

We can proudly say that together we raised $2,157.40 for the Cancer Council – this amount entirely from raffle tickets, a Jelly Bean Guessing Competition and ‘Guess the Tea Cup’ game.  A fantastic result and a big thank you to all those that supported this great cause.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff members who organised the event and the prizes. Of course we also thank the following organisations that generously donated a service or item for our raffle. Please support their businesses in any way you can:

We’d like to honour David Anderson, who sadly lost his brave battle against cancer on Tuesday, 23 May 2017.   The Partners of CMC and all of our staff extend their condolences to both Leanne and Anne for their loss.
